Data Recording Supplies commenced operation in 1986 supplying BASF Data Storage Products and typewriter and printer ribbons to office supply houses and stationers of the day.
Over the years the business has followed the changes in the industry with technology advancement, particularly in the evolution and popularity of computers.
In 2010, Data Recording Supplies changed names to DRS Technology to coincide with the broader range of technology related products.
